A Visita de Estudo a Roma da turma de 12.ºB, nos passados dias 7, 8 e 9 de Março, foi uma experiência gratificante, à partida o desafio era grande e a recompensa foi ainda maior, pois vivemos lá momentos que nunca mais vamos esquecer.
O Coliseu, um dos ícones mais famosos de Roma pelo seu tamanho e imponência do anfiteatro, deu-nos a oportunidade de aprender muito sobre a história dos gladiadores e das batalhas que ocorreram lá.
Visitámos os Museus do Vaticano e a impressionante arte de Miguel Ângelo na Capela Sistina. Foi incrível ver a majestosidade da Praça e da Basílica de São Pedro. Também tivemos a sorte de estar presente durante a audiência, das quartas-feiras, do Papa Francisco, na Praça de São Pedro, foi uma experiência emocionante.
Além disso, visitámos muitos outros locais, como a Fonte de Trevi, Piazza Navona, o Panteão, o Palatino, o Fórum Romano, a Praça de Espanha, o Castelo de Sant`Ângelo, o Capitólio, e até a estação Central Termini que é uma gare de comboio, que tem o movimento de uma estação de metrópole e que agrega diversos modos de transporte, como o autocarro e o metro, sendo este último o meio de transporte que mais utilizamos, para além do 42 Km que fizemos a andar a pé. Em todos esses lugares, pudemos apreciar a beleza da cidade e sua rica história.
A culinária de Roma também merece destaque. Tivemos a oportunidade de experimentar pizza marguerita, massas frescas e gelado artesanal. A comida italiana autêntica e de Roma, em particular, é verdadeiramente uma experiência para os sentidos.
Como Professores, sermos os facilitadores de um momento tão especial como este é uma das maiores honras e responsabilidades que um educador(a)/professor(a)/diretor de turma podem ter. É uma experiência emocionante poder guiar e apoiar os alunos em seu caminho de aprendizagem e crescimento pessoal, proporcionando-lhes oportunidades únicas e significativas que eles guardarão para sempre em suas memórias.
Quando os alunos realizam algo que nunca pensaram ser possível é verdadeiramente gratificante e reforça a importância de nossa tarefa como educadores, temos de referir que, esta Visita de Estudo aconteceu porque foi iniciativa primeira, dos alunos que nos desafiaram a acompanhá-los. Realço o enorme empenho, as iniciativas que tiveram os alunos desta turma para a concretizarmos. Ser capaz de ajudar os alunos a alcançar seu máximo potencial é uma das coisas mais emocionantes e recompensadoras que podemos fazer nas nossas vidas profissionais e pessoais.
